Wheelchair Activity Tracker

Essentially a ‘Fitbit’ for wheelchair users…

For my final year project, I developed an activity tracking system for wheelchair users in an attempt to increase their upper body activity. An Arduino computer was integrated to an Accelerator, Gyroscope, GPS and wheel rotation sensors to evaluate the movement of the the wheelchair. This data is then sent over Bluetooth to a smartphone for the user to review.
